Caritas encompass the work of the former Catholic Children’s Society. Their support also includes intergenerational work, young people at the risk of becoming homeless, accessible community hubs and work with those seeking refuge and asylum.
They aim to:
- Build self-esteem and confidence
- Prevent isolation for those who are either alone or new to the area
- Nurture the emotional development of children and young people within the home and community
- Address critical personal and social issues
- Develop new skills, knowledge, attitudes and values that will assist people in reaching their full potential
