Caritas  encompass the work of the former Catholic Children’s Society. Caritas support also includes; intergenerational work, young people at the risk of becoming homeless, accessible community hubs and work with those seeking refuge and asylum.

Caritas aims to;

• Build self-esteem and confidence
• Prevent isolation for those who are either alone or new to the area
• Nurture the emotional development of children and young people within the home and community
• Address critical personal and social issues
• Develop new skills, knowledge, attitudes and values that will assist people in reaching their full potential
