The Hive, is a state of the art purpose-built youth facility for children and young people aged 8 to 19, and up to 25 for those with disabilities. Access to these fantastic facilities costs just £5 for an annual membership and 50p per visit.

The Youth Zone provides a safe environment where young people can come and enjoy themselves. They can make new friends and get active and creative in a safe and secure environment.

What they do

• Open access youth provision, young people can attend and go in and out of the rooms joining in all the activities. All rooms are staffed by qualified youth workers
• Facilities include – sports hall, climbing wall, boxing gym, rooftop astroturf pitch, dance studio, music room, art room, media room, salon, training kitchen, skate park and a big open recreation area
• Young people can get a nutritious meal for £1 on every session
• Monday night projects – various projects run on the night, speak to staff to see what is available
• LGBTQ+ Support Group
• Wellbeing and Mentoring support for young people who need it

Sessions 

Juniors – age 8-12 years

Wednesday 4-8pm and Sundays 3-7pm

Seniors – age 13-19 (or up to 25 with SEND)

Thursday 4-9pm and Friday 4-10pm.

Hiveability – age 8-25

Specific inclusion session for young people with a disability or additional need

Sunday 10-2pm.

Hiveability – age 13+

Senior inclusion session for young people aged 13-25

Tuesday 5-8pm

Family Days – all ages.

This is a family session so parents need to stay with their young people

Every Saturday 11-2pm
