Brighter Days Ahead is a mental health and well-being service.
Their Parental Mental Health Support offers a range of opportunities for parents to focus on their mental health and wellbeing.
This includes welcoming group sessions such as wellbeing activities, mindfulness, sound baths, craft sessions and more.
They provide a safe and supportive space for connection, calm and relaxation, with a focus on wellbeing and finding ways to prioritise making time for self-care amidst the busyness of parenting.
Brighter Days Ahead also offer one-to-one counselling, providing a safe and confidential space for parents to explore their feelings, challenges and emotional wellbeing at their own pace.
Parents and carers who would like to make time for their own wellbeing, develop new skills and explore ways to support and improve their mental health.
Group activities are scheduled throughout the year, with dates and details shared across the Brighter Days Ahead social media pages. Information about how to access and refer into the service is also shared alongside each activity announcement.
One-to-one counselling is arranged flexibly, taking into account each individuals needs, circumstances and availability.
Brighter Days Ahead services operate Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Groups are offered at a range of venues as they aim to reach as many communities as possible.
They also offer online support for parents/carers who may not be able to attend in-person sessions.
