Wirral’s Local Offer of SEND services
SENDLO brings together information about the local services and support available across education, health and social care for families with children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and/ or disabilities (SEND).
Whether you’re a child, young person, parent or carer, SENDLO can provide you with valuable information and guidance you need to help you navigate the world of SEND.
In SENDLO you will find up-to-date information about health and care services, early years education, schools, training, and employment, as well as helpful advice and information on the different support and services available for people with special educational needs and disabilities here in Wirral and the wider North West region.
SENDLO has been designed from the ground up to make finding the information you need as straightforward as possible.
What is a SEND Local Offer?
Each local area has a duty to publish information relating to the SEND services on offer regarding Health, Education and Social care. The idea being everything is in one place to help our SEND families navigate their way and be signposted to the advice and information they need to support their children and young people from birth up to the age of 25. News items and details of What’s On locally are also important, as is the option to get in touch to share feedback and suggest content.
