FFLAG is a national voluntary organisation and charity dedicated to supporting families and their LGBT+ loved ones. Offering support to local parent groups and contacts in their efforts to help parents and families understand, accept and support their lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender members with love and pride.
Females First is a wellbeing group for any woman in the community, with a focus on reducing isolation and building confidence to learn new skills, particularly for mums. They offer craft sessions, access to the gym and courses through external learning providers. Children are welcome at all of the groups and volunteers are on hand to entertain the children whilst mums participate.

Family Rights Group is a national charity that advises parents, grandparents, relatives and friends about their rights and options when social workers or courts make decisions about their children’s welfare. Working with parents whose children are in need, at risk or are in the care system and with wider family members and friends who are raising children (known as kinship carers).
