Top tips for helping your child with homework

  1. Help keep your child in a routine of when they do their homework each day or week, and try to stick to it 
  2. Allow yourself enough time to help your child with their homework – it can be stressful for them if they know you’re in a rush.  
  3. Praise and encourage your child’s effort to help boost their confidence e.g. “I like the way you worked that out…”
