Future Yard is a 700-capacity space, at 75 Argyle Street. This community venue brings you some of today’s most exciting new national and international artists to the Wirral, while at the same time providing key early performance opportunities for emerging local musicians. Birkenhead – and Wirral – is a place with music in it’s DNA.
We believe that music venues are the maternity wards of creative culture. They are always the trailblazers, the first cultural flagpole when it comes to thinking about a place differently.

So your teenager loves live music. However, did they know that they can make this their career? From sound engineering to event management, Future Yard covers it all.
Young people can hone their skills every week at the day or evening live music training courses, allowing them to shadow the pros and even run their own show.
