Working together

VIDEO See also:

No relationship is perfect, and every relationship needs a bit of support from time to time.

This short video is about parents who are juggling lots of pressures at home and work, and how they could support each other differently.

While you’re watching the video, think about:

  • What is going ‘wrong’ in how the parents communicate?
  • How might the child be feeling?
  • What worked better the second time round?

And take a moment to reflect on your own parenting relationship:

  • Do you see yourself or your child’s other parent in these videos?
  • What’s something you want to change about how you communicate?
  • How can you make sure you do that?

RelationKit tools have been designed for parents and carers across Liverpool, Knowsley, Halton, St Helens, Cheshire East, Wirral and Sefton. You can find them all on the Family Toolbox.
