Citizens Advice Wirral (CAW) hold Walk up Advice sessions at Seacombe Family Hub. CAW Advisers are available to support with benefit, housing, debt and much more. This is only suitable for those with children under 5 years old. Clients must visit the centre local to where they live and be prepared to register at the centre.

Held at Seacombe Family Hub, these Childminder Drop-In Play sessions give childminders the opportunity to introduce children to many different types of play including creative, imaginative and messy play. Family Hubs are designed to bring the community together and offer a ‘one stop’ shop for children and families in Wirral, re-defining the way families connect with support and local services all under one roof.

SENsory Toy shop is an inclusive, family-run sensory toy shop catering to all sensory needs. We have a wide range including sensory lights and equipment, educational and specialised toys, Braille books and toys like me, fidgets and cuddly toys. We also have a lovely sensory room and a classroom for hire.

Wirral Council provides people with mobility difficulties or physical disabilities access to two of Wirral’s most popular beaches as purpose-built wheelchairs become available for hire – free of charge. This is part of a project involving Wirral Council and Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS, six beach wheelchairs have been bought that will be available for people to book and use for free from both the Floral Pavilion in New Brighton and Wirral Watersports Centre in West Kirby.
