Liverpool Guild of Students, Mount Pleasant, Liverpool L3 5TR

Women’s Employability & Empowerment Programme

Are you a woman aged 18-30 years old, unemployed or out of education and looking for work? Why not join Street Leagues free 10-week empowerment and employability programme.

There will be opportunities to:

  • Gain new skills: Work on key skills like communication, teamwork, leadership, finance, advocacy, networking and many more
  • Get support with your job search: Support with CV writing, interview prep and an introduction to local employers
  • Be active and meet new people: Meet new people in your area, build your confidence and create your own community and safe space

Street League has formed a partnership with many local and large organisations including the NHS, United Utilities, Burger King, DHL and many more, which allows them to fast-track applications, offering an exclusive pathway into careers within different job sectors.

Of the 60 women from the 5 programmes run to date, 43 are in employment, 6 are in training and the rest not far behind.

This is an incredible opportunity for young women to gain valuable skills, build confidence, and take meaningful steps toward their future careers.
