Pathfinder Befriending Programme
The Pathfinder Programme is a Wirral Council initiative that offers tailored support to families who are working with Children’s Services, including Early Help, Child in Need, Child Protection, fostering, or any other involvement with Children’s Services.
Their role is to deliver the befriending element of the programme and help create a thriving community of parent-carers who share similar experiences. To make this happen, they’ve planned a full year-long programme with something different every month, created just for you.
Drawing on the sessions that have received the best feedback, Positivitree have designed a calendar packed with favourites such as:
These activities are all about peer connection, wellbeing, and support—a chance to recharge, share stories, and build friendships with others who truly understand.
Thanks to this renewed funding, Positivitree can continue walking alongside families, offering compassionate, non-judgemental support and memorable experiences all year long.
Who is this aimed at?
For parent-carers of children or young people with additional health or care needs or a disability and families currently linked with Children’s Services in any capacity
