Life After Leaving – Next Chapter NW CIC

156 Mill Lane, Wallasey CH44 3BN

Life After Leaving – Next Chapter NW CIC

Life After Leaving is a confidential, trauma-informed 1:1 coaching programme for working women aged 25+ who have left an abusive or unhealthy relationship. Women may or may not have children.

Next Chapter NW currently have funded places available until March 2027 and are offering up to 12 coaching sessions per person delivered by their Healthy Relationships lead, who is a qualified coach with IDVA background, training and experience.

The programme has been developed because Next Chapter NW recognise that there are women who don’t necessarily need counselling but still need someone alongside them to help make sense of what has happened, rebuild their confidence and work out what comes next.

They are particularly keen to reach community-facing professionals and women working in health, education, caring, support and other public-facing roles. They know that for women in these professions, accessing support can sometimes feel particularly difficult. Concerns around privacy, confidentiality, professional reputation or being recognised within their own community can mean that they don’t seek help at all.

Through 1:1 coaching, women have a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to focus on themselves and their future. Providing an opportunity for rebuilding confidence, self-belief, goals, aspirations, hope and wellbeing, while developing practical strategies around boundaries, decision-making, emotional management, relationships and conflict.

Sessions can be either in person, online or telephone, making the support accessible around busy working lives and professional responsibilities.  An initial consultation will take place to ensure the programme is suitable for individual needs.

Next Chapter NW CIC support children over 8, families, adults and professionals to improve mental health and well-being across England, Wales and beyond.
