Are you a parent or carer living in Wirral with a child aged 0 to 12? Would you like some extra support to give your child the best start in life?
HENRY (Health, Exercise, Nutrition for the Really Young) is here to help! Whether you’re expecting a baby or have children up to the age of 12, HENRY offers free, friendly support to help you feel more confident and build healthy, happy routines at home.
The programmes are designed to make family life easier, covering everything from fussy eating and managing behaviour to family routines, emotional wellbeing and getting active together.
Healthy Families Courses
Trained facilitators run free, 8-week courses at your local Family Hub. There are two programmes to choose from, depending on the age of your child(ren):
Each course helps you build your confidence as a parent and gives you practical tools you can use straight away. We also run one-off workshops with quick tips on topics like starting solids, fussy eating and more.

You can sign yourself up or ask a professional to refer you. These sessions are open to all parents and carers living in Wirral who have a child aged 0–12 and can commit to the full 8 weeks.
