We are a team of highly experienced teachers led by Principal Jayne Foley – former Primary Senior Leader, Local Authority Advisor and Education Improvement Partner for STEM Learning.

Our fantastic facilities include a fully resourced, fit for purpose learning environment with WiFi access. This is an ideal place to learn, progress and succeed. We have a free library service available to all pupils including many books from the recommended reading list that can be returned at any time.

We wholeheartedly believe in the learning experience for all of our young people. We guarantee a 1:4 ratio when working in groups but also offer a 1:1 tuition service.

 

Primary School Tutoring

• Years 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 – Maths & English Support
• The sessions are both theory and practical based, tailored to improve confidence, develop subject knowledge and accelerate progress. Pupils’ misconceptions and misunderstandings are addressed, so that they can move quickly through the curriculum. Our teaching is guided by assessment, to ensure that key concepts are reinforced and foundations are secured.
• Ideal for those pupils who need it to revise key concepts, plug learning gaps, and help them make accelerated progress.

 

Secondary School Tutoring

• Years 7, 8, 9, GCSE and Key Stage 3 – Maths & English Support
• Students can opt to be taught 1-1 or in small group sessions by our experienced and friendly staff.

 

Grammar School Tutoring

• Entrance Exam Preparation
• All Wirral Grammar exams covered

 

Having over 21 years of experience in education, we are very proud of the fact that our tuition not only improves our students’ academic performance, but also builds their confidence and self-esteem. Our students look forward to our lessons and enjoy the learning process. We try to keep sessions as relaxed and as fun as possible, and encourage participation within the group so that students have the best possible experience whilst preparing for the exam.

Tuition in small groups is usually more economical than employing an individual tutor. If your child learns best in the company of others, or enjoys having a little healthy competition around them, a small group works extremely well. We work on a 1 tutor to 4 pupil ratio which allows us to keep our sessions as accessible as possible in terms of cost.
