The CELLS project is an initiative, born from the need for understanding through education the consequences of anti-social behaviour and criminal activity. We aim to use our experience as a diverse measure to give tomorrow's society a better chance in life.
CELLS’ primary objective is to educate children and young people on the consequences of crime. Enabling them with an informed choice encourages them to understand personal responsibility and embrace positive diversionary alternatives, including recreational and vocational activities. Through awareness, those who recognize they have issues have the opportunity for further support. This support can include working on any problems and improving self-esteem and well-being.
Lean on Me
Are you worried for your child's safety due to criminality in the area? Would you like help, support and guidance on issues that affect you and your family? The Lean on Me project aims to support anyone who needs support with their child's behaviour/issues.
Our mentors are parents who have experienced this themselves, they will empower and educate families on crime and the consequences of actions leading to the criminal justice system.
We also offer support for parents with a loved one in prison by sharing experiences and coping strategies in a non-judgemental environment.
