Ebb & Flow is a creative organisation promoting our incredible coastal regions & the protection of our environment. Ebb & Flow projects work with communities to discuss, design and deliver projects for the benefit of people and places.
We are qualified Beach Schools Practitioners with an OCN Level 3 Environmental Management. The company was formed in May 2015 however as professionals, we have over nearly 30 years experience (yes, we are getting on a bit!) within the education, health, heritage and arts sectors.
The coastal regions we explore range between Gwynedd, Wales and North West England although we will travel further if there is a project that we can assist. We respect hugely the RNLI and HM Coastguard so promote their messages of water safety.
‘Beach Club!’ fosters outdoor learning principles for children aged 2-12yrs. We encourage their grown-ups to 'stay & play' and incorporate creatively messages concerning safety, sea-pollution, litter, care for the natural environment and sea-life.
We can help with tailored sessions/projects for primary, secondary National Curriculum elements as well as for home learners. Most subjects can be creatively investigated whilst at the beach as well as the huge benefit for pupils and teachers when outdoors in the fresh air. We love to encourage learning!
We litter pick and guide participants to do the same (safely) when they visit the beach and to think about individual impact on waste. Children understand this concept perfectly! Out focus would be to reduce rather than recycle.
With a portfolio of heritage based projects, we have a passion for telling and sharing peoples stories. Our rich coastal heritage has vast opportunity to engage and remember our fascinating cultural and physical heritage. 'People and Places' are in our hearts.
We want individuals and communities to improve their wellbeing by using the great outdoors.
We can deliver training and accept commissions for briefs that include graphic design, photography, film, brand i-d, marketing, web-site and school resources design.
