A Child in Need meeting is an informal meeting that happens every 4-6 weeks.
At the meeting everyone will talk about the progress of the Child in Need Plan.

People who might attend the meeting are parents/carers, close family members, the social worker, school or nursery, the health visitor or school nurse and anyone else supporting the family.

During Child in Need meetings, there will be an agenda. This says what will be talked about in the meeting.
This might include:

A welcome and introductions from the social worker.

Updates from the social worker, family and other people at the meeting.

Everyone will look at the Child in Need Plan to see how it is working.

Everyone will agree what needs to happen in the next few weeks.

A date will be set for the next Child in Need meeting.
