March ~ Communication and language

Have lots of conversations with your child that are open-ended and allow for different vocabulary to be used. When your little one asks you a question, try to answer back with a follow up such as “What do you think?” rather than giving an answer straight away.
Use ‘Serve and Return’- this back and forth interaction is essential for building language skills. Keep those conversations going and use language in play!
