The Sensory Hive

The Sensory Hive is a not-for-profit community organisation offering services in occupational therapy, sensory integration and education for individuals living with sensory processing difficulties.

Our community includes individuals who are neurodivergent (Autism, ADHD, SPD, Dyspraxia), and those Learning Difficulties, PMLD, and neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy and brain injury.

We are Sharon and Hayley, professionals in the fields of health and education but more importantly, parents of children with additional needs. We have neurodivergent children and have first-hand experience of how sensory processing conditions can profoundly affect a loved one and their families.

Living with a sensory processing condition can be challenging.

Many families are socially isolated because our modern world is a busy, overwhelming place and there are few spaces for our sensory sensitive children, young people and adults to safely access. Additionally, sensory processing and integration is an area still very misunderstood and we want to change that.
