The Johnson Foundation was established to promote any charitable purposes for the benefit of the Liverpool City Region. The advancement of education, the preservation and protection of health and relief of poverty and sickness.
Help and Support
The Johnson Foundation was established in 1987 and was a conduit to financially supporting the areas charitable causes. This giving continues however the Foundation has now also placed ‘on the ground’ support to add benefit to our local partners. Working with;
- Wirral Council
- Age UK Wirral
- Job Centre Plus
- Frank Fields Citizens Supermarket
- Foundation Years Trust
- Wirral Mencap
- Citizens Advice Bureau
We are delighted to be able to support individuals into work. The team runs regular ‘building block’ programmes which offer the diagnostic prior to bespoking the support to each person. Mentoring is at the heart of the Foundation and we leverage the skills of the team and our contacts in the business community to assist in the delivery of our development programmes.
Education
We believe every child, regardless of background or academic ability has the potential to succeed and thrive both personally and professionally as they grow, and we hope to support this through our My Big Future provision of Careers Inspiration, W.O.W workshops, activities and opportunities.Collaborating with a number of amazing, engaged businesses/organisations, our hope is we can assist Primary Schools to raise aspirations and encourage young people to dream big from a young age!
