Seacombe Family Hub are part of the design to bring the community together and offer a 'one stop' shop for children and families in Wirral, re-defining the way families connect with support and local services all under one roof.
Family Hubs are for all families with children aged 0-19 (up to age 25 with SEND) to help build connections and strengthen relationships. They provide information and support to adults in those families addressing topics such as lifelong learning, employment, parenting, as well as health and wellbeing and much more.
Family Hubs offer a wide range of services for families including:
- Group activities for families to support their child’s development
- Accessing health appointments with midwives
- Health visitors
- Relationship support
- Foodbank services
The Hub will build upon the existing Children’s Centre offer, with families able to access support for many issues their family may be facing including child development, relationship and SEND support – alongside the usual Children’s Centre timetable. The aim is to make services easier to navigate and more joined-up, ensuring families receive the right service at the right time.
