Merseyside Society for Deaf People,  promote equality and improve the lives of d/Deaf, Deafblind, and hard of hearing individuals throughout the region. They offer a wide range of specialist services using various communication methods to meet diverse needs.

As a leading advocate for change, the organisation works to ensure that Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing individuals can access the services they need—free from barriers that limit their growth or participation in society.

The services provided include:

• Children and family services – Support and advice
• Support Work – Home visits and duty sessions
• Equipment – Assessments and repairs
• Interpreter Service – Booking and registrations
• Deaf Community and Social Activities – MSDP run a variety of community groups for Deaf, Deaf Blind and Hard of Hearing people
• Training – The Charity also provides specialist training in Deaf Awareness and British Sign Language from beginner up to Interpreter level
