The Carrbridge Centre, is a registered charity serving the Woodchurch estate. They run a variety of community services aimed at supporting local residents and families.
The main aim of the organisation is to assist in the alleviation of the high levels of multi deprivation that exist locally. Tackling issues around education, employment, training, advice, guidance, support and health, the organisation uses the centre in a way that will not only generate money for the area and be self-sustainable but help address such issues.
They offer a wide range of activities for children, young people and families. Providing resources and facilities to help improve local people’s quality of life in a welcoming and supportive environment.
In addition, they also run a social supermarket from the Hoole Road Community Hub, which is open Monday to Friday where individuals can purchase food at discounted prices.
