Capa First Response

Capa First Response is an online service supporting those impacted by a child using harmful and/or aggressive behaviours towards a parent or caregiver. This is often referred to as ‘CAPVA’ Child or Adolescent to Parent Violence and Abuse.

An increasing number of families are struggling to find the right support.

Capa First Response offer direct bespoke support to help identify the drivers behind behaviour and help build strong communication, trusting relationships and clear boundaries and expectations.

  • Free advice and support sessions with specialist workers
  • 1:1 sessions to support the WHOLE family including siblings, extended family as well as the child using the behaviours.
  • FREE consultation sessions for professional, training, and supervision alongside team development and strategic thinking.

Free or low-cost sessions.

All family services are offered on a ‘pay what you can’ basis, and if a family cannot afford to pay help can still be offered thanks to funding, primarily from The National Lottery Community Fund.

Professional services are charged at a nominal rate.
