Adoption in Merseyside (AiM) is a regional adoption agency that covers the four local authorities; Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley and Wirral.
We’re dedicated to finding loving, stable homes for Merseyside’s children and providing first class support to our adopters.
Our team responds to the needs of children and their parents and a wide range of support can be offered – from general advice and information to direct work, training and group work.
Steps to adoption: There are two main stages to becoming an approved adopter and the full process can take around 12 months.
Who can adopt? You will need to have a child-friendly lifestyle, provide a stable environment and be ready for the challenge and lifelong commitment.
Request information pack: Read more about the process and about the types of children that need loving and stable homes.
