Your support network

It’s not easy being a parent! It's important to keep in touch with those close to you. They can help you through life’s tough times and be there for the fun times too.

How to stay connected with those around you

  1. Keep in touch. Schedule a phone call with a friend or family member once a week.
  2. See friends and family face to face too, and make sure you get a hug! Physical contact can help you feel better.
  3. Think about how you can do more to connect with your wider support network e.g. work colleagues and groups in your local community.
