If you feel that your relationship is abusive:

  1. Know that you are not alone, and it is not your fault.
  2. Continue as normal. Changes in behaviour can often cause escalations in risk level.
  3. Contact and get advice from your local domestic abuse help centre. Do not be afraid to call 999 if you feel afraid.
