Calday Pool is hired out to numerous groups and clubs from the local area for various activities as well as being used for primary school and Calday Grammar School sessions and offering Lifeguard Courses.
Woodchurch Amateur Swimming Club
Woodchurch Swimming Club is based at Woodchurch Leisure Centre where they swim Fridays and Saturdays. They also offer training sessions at Leasowe Leisure Centre Mondays and Wednesdays and at Calday Grange Swimming Pool on Mondays.
The training session at Calday is specifically aimed at new and junior Members of the Club and is designed to take young swimmers from Learn to Swim Schemes and to introduce them to the world of competitive swimming. The Club competes in the Merseyside and District Junior League, the Peninsula League and the Wirral Development League which combine to give the competitive experience at different levels.
