West Kirby Grammar School and Wirral Grammar School for Girls
Jumps, Rolls, Balancing, Bars, Vaulting, Trampettes, Airtracks, there’s lots to enjoy.
We have a specific set of age-appropriate objectives around: Understanding, Skills and Behaviours. Our aim is always to work towards these with our SMILE, MOVE, GROW core values at the forefront. This means children have fun and are safe, they are active and engaged and they learn and progress.
Children will work through a structured program, tailored to age and ability, with our coaches each week covering different core gymnastics skills and progressions, apparatus and support activities.
Each of our 3 Key Stages, follows an established course structure, within each class we can cater for different skill levels, whether children are getting to grips with gymnastics or are already showing a good level of competence. Progress with skills and demonstration of our values will be rewarded with certificates, stickers and medals.
There are 3 Key Stages:
Mini – Children aged 4 to 6 years
Midi – Children aged 7 to 8 years
Maxi – Children aged 9 to 12 years
Children can join their age group class at any stage in the school year, without needing any prior gymnastics experience.
