The Reader are a national charity that wants to bring about a Reading Revolution so that everyone can experience and enjoy great literature, which we believe is a tool for helping humans survive and live well. We read with schools, families and looked-after-children, adults in community spaces, people in care homes, people with physical and mental health conditions, those coping with or recovering from addiction, and people in the criminal justice system.
Shared Reading for 3-5’s
There’s nothing to read at home and no pressure to read aloud unless you want to. It’s a space for you to just ‘be’.
There will also have simple crafts or activities at these sessions.
No phones are allowed at these sessions. Please switch them off at the start of the session or leave them with a responsible adult.
This is for children aged 3 – 5 with their grown-ups. A responsible adult (aged 18+) must stay within the vicinity of the children’s library for the session.
