Drill was opened in August 2011 after successfully winning a bid to take over the centre's running from the local council. The new name for the centre, formally Grange Road West sports centre, came from the heritage of the building in the fact that it used to be an Army drill hall.

Have you got a toddler who loves to bounce and jump? The Birkenhead Trampoline Club is open for mums and tots. So they can bounce all their energy off and learn new skills.
