Social evenings for adults with learning disabilities and/or SEND ~ Sundowns

Poulton Victoria Sports & Social Club, Poulton Bridge Road, Wallasey, UK

Wirral based charity Sundowns are launching something new specifically for over 18s with learning disabilities and/or SEND. Starting in May 2026 inclusive social nights will take place at Poulton Victoria Social Club.

These evenings are all about creating a safe, welcoming space to:

  • Meet new people
  • Build confidence
  • Enjoy fun, structured activities
  • Be part of a supportive community

Because the opportunities for social connection can be limited for many adults with SEND, these events aim to help build meaningful friendships in a relaxed environment.

This is a 4-event pilot programme and if successful, it is hoped to be developed into regular monthly social nights.

Upcoming events:

  • Fast Friends Social – 5th June 2026
  • Fancy Dress Night – 3rd July 2026
  • Quiz Night – 4th September 2026

Further information

  • All events run from 7:00pm – 9:00pm
  • £3 suggested donation, payable on the door
  • Address: Poulton Victoria Social Club Poulton Bridge Road Wallasey CH44 5SW
