Come explore the hidden world of our local estuaries, discover amazing creatures, learn how river ecosystems work and build real marine biology knowledge with Dr Monica McCard.

There will be opportunities to:

• Learn about the marine life in the river Mersey with a team of marine biologists
• Use a microscope on your beach finds
• Design a marine-themed cookie

UK Unplugged spark young people’s curiosity beyond the screen by helping parents and carers support young people to explore the world offline through engaging, creative boxes and events. They work with local experts, craftspeople and artists, to create meaningful offline moments that nurture creativity, connection, and mental wellbeing.

Family event aimed at young people 6+ but all welcome

Cost:

• £10 per young person
• £6 (young person supported ticket rate)
• Adults are free
