Do you know a young person who loves Wirral, cares for the environment and wants to have a say on how local business can become green employers?

If YES, they can join Wirral`s Cool Youth group, who meet on a Wednesday evening at Pilgrim Street.

The group is informal, educational and creative. Developing young people’s understanding of what goes on within the environment and how they can safely get involved in changing the future designs of the Wirral climate and environment, whilst simultaneously developing their skills such as confidence, professionalism, debate skills and many more.

Looking at:

• Local environment
• The future of the environment
• Upcycling
• Green Energy
• Green Jobs
• Housing – Make sure they are energy efficient

Young people can:

• Gain confidence
• Develop researching skills
• Attend seminars and events across the Northwest
• Host their own events at council buildings
• Work alongside elected members, Liverpool City Region

Who is this aimed at?

Young people aged from 8 to 19 years and up to 25 for those who are SEND/CLA
