Our Mission: Empowering Young Lives Through Fitness and Community

Behind Bars Calisthenics Academy have a mission to enhance the physical, psychological, and emotional well-being of children in a safe, supportive environment. Through innovative programmes, they help young people discover their strengths and capabilities, working alongside parents and industry professionals to create lasting change.

Coaches bring first-hand experience of the challenges faced by children growing up in disadvantaged areas, making them uniquely equipped to connect with and inspire participants. Believing that fostering positive behaviours and constructive habits from an early age is vital to reducing anti-social behaviour and unlocking brighter futures.

By using exercise as a platform, they help children build confidence, resilience, and self-worth, while actively creating opportunities for them to form meaningful social connections. Projects also support parents and carers, strengthening family bonds and enhancing community cohesion.

Little Ninjas

Little Ninjas empowers children aged 5-12 to build fitness, confidence, and resilience through fun Ninja Warrior-style challenges. Join us for just £5 per session and watch your child thrive.

Social Projects

The Academy transforms lives through social projects, offering affordable or free and subsidised programmes for underprivileged children, at-risk youth, and families, fostering fitness, resilience, and community connections in a supportive environment.

Schools and Groups

Bring your school or group to this unique facility. Hire the Ninja Warrior-style space with experienced coaches for engaging sessions that build teamwork, fitness, and confidence in a fun, supportive environment.
