Acro Nova Gymnastics Club provides your child with skills for life through the exciting sport of gymnastics. Specialising in sports acrobatics. Acro Nova has been recognised as an Olympic legacy club thanks to successful Sports England funding bids.
Coaches can help develop your child’s strength, flexibility, balance, co-ordination and self-esteem and the gymnastic environment itself will also enhance their social and teamwork skills. All coaches and club associates are fully qualified and the club has GymMark and ClubMark accreditation as an acknowledgement of the quality running of the club. As such, you can rest assured that your child is getting active, making friends and having fun in a safe and welfare-focused environment.
There are lots of classes suited to different ages and abilities, including a mixed disability class. Coaches are committed to continuous professional development which helps to ensure your child’s gymnastics career is characterised by professionalism and best practice and a squad system provides a means for your child to set themselves the challenge of progressing through the competitive levels of gymnastics in order to achieve their full potential.
Sports Acrobatics
Acrobatics is a competitive partner sport combining the strength and flexibility of gymnastics with the artistic expression of dance. Gymnasts work in harmony with each other to produce intricate balances and exciting dynamic elements, all incorporated into a routine performed to music that also encompasses spectacular tumbling and additional individual elements.
Classes
Upon joining the club, gymnasts are required to pay an annual fee to British Gymnastics, which goes towards BG membership and insurance.
