Helping your child with stress

  1. Watch for signs of stress – worrying a lot, feeling tense, not sleeping well and being negative – and talk to your child about it.
  2. Encourage exercise, relaxation, eating and sleeping well, which help them feel less stressed.
  3. Make sure they do things they enjoy, whether spending time with friends, getting time to themselves, or doing other nice things, to help them put aside what they’re stressed about.
