What is a Child in Need Plan?

A Child in Need Plan is a plan that looks at what support a child and family might need.


The plan says what support will be in place to help a child and family.


A social worker will complete a draft plan. A draft plan means the plan is not finished yet.


People can read the plan and share their views before it becomes a final plan.
