Are you a young person who works and cares for the environment?
Do you want to see the environment change for the better?
Do you want to have a say on how local business can become green employers?
Do you LOVE Wirral?
If YES, come along to Wirral`s Cool Youth group, who meet on a Tuesday evening at Pilgrim Street.
The group is informal, educational and creative. Developing young people’s understanding of what goes on within the environment and how they can safely get involved in changing the future designs of the Wirral climate and environment, whilst simultaneously developing their skills such as confidence, professionalism, debate skills and many more.
We look at:
- Local environment
- The future of the environment
- Upcycling
- Green Energy
- Green Jobs
- Housing – Make sure they are energy efficient
Along side all of this we work on the young people confidence, researching skills, creativity as not all work will be reading and writing, and in the session we do use the arts to best suit the young person, all the young people will be given opportunities to attend seminars, events across the northwest, hosting their own events, taking over council buildings to run events, work with and alongside elected members, work with the Liverpool City Region, and so much more.
