Healthy relationships

Everyone needs a hand with their relationship sometimes. Add kids into the mix, and there can be lots of extra pressure on you both, as you juggle looking after yourselves and your little (and not so little) ones.

If you and your partner are struggling

  1. Breathe deeply and try to stay calm. It can be hard to keep your head on when things are stressful, but if you can stay calm, you will be able to think more clearly. RelationKit has some great mindfulness sessions to help with this.
  2. Talk to your partner about your problems and communicate clearly and calmly about what is working and what isn’t.
  3. Think about how your relationship is affecting your child. If you and your partner are struggling, be mindful of how your child is finding things too.
