When teaching your child new skills, remember

  1. Be patient. Every child learns at a different pace so try to be patient and not compare your child to others.
  2. Encourage your child. Giving praise at each step will boost your child’s confidence.
  3. Trust yourself and your judgement that you will know what your child is ready to learn.
