How to talk to your child about online safety:

  1. Start by talking to them about the different websites and apps they use. Learning more about them can help you understand if they are safe.
  2. Social media is a great way for your child to keep in touch with friends. Make sure they know they should only be talking to people they know and trust.
  3. Be positive about the internet but be open with your child if there is anything worrying you.
