The leading emotional wellbeing service for young people in Wirral. hatch is a service for young people aged 8 to 16 years.
At hatch we want young people and parents to feel comfortable in accessing support for their mental health and emotional wellbeing and we pride ourselves on our informal and accessible approach.
Support for Young People
Everybody has ups and downs in life and goes through challenging times; it’s a natural part of life, and these things having an effect on the way we feel is perfectly normal. However, we aren’t born with the natural ability to cope with these things on our own.
This is where hatch can help.
We provide a range of programmes to improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing, in a relatable and non-clinical way. These include;
Our 1-1 support is delivered at our site in Birkenhead by our team of volunteer mentors. The sessions are arranged for the same time each week and can last between 6-8 weeks. All three programmes help you develop a better understanding of the different areas of mental health and emotional wellbeing, as well as teaching you skills and strategies to help you make positive changes in the areas you’re finding challenging.
Please note: Demand for our service is extremely high, please make sure that you are ready and willing to engage before completing the online form. Not all young people will access 1-1 support if we feel there is a more suitable service available.
