The National Breastfeeding Helpline is run as a partnership between The Breastfeeding Network and the Association of Breastfeeding Mothers.
Both organisations have offered helpline services for many years but the National Breastfeeding Helpline in its current form was established in 2008.
All calls are answered by volunteers who have breastfed their own children, completed comprehensive training, and undertook ongoing training and supervision.

Individuals and families who need support and information about breastfeeding; we also get calls from professionals supporting families.
