AJ And Friends, rooted in the lived experience of one family, aims to reduce social isolation, offer support, and provide a sense of community. The logo’s depiction of the rising sun serves as a reminder that hope always emerges, even amid the darkest times. Each new day brings the promise of possibilities, and AJ And Friends strives to be a beacon of hope for families in need.
Men’s Lego Club
Dads, Uncles, Brothers, Grandads, Carers, this one’s for you.
Looking after a young person with unique abilities (our way of saying brilliantly different) can be rewarding but let’s be real, it can also feel isolating at times. That’s why we’ve created something just for you.
Lego Club Building with AJ And Friends CIC in our cosy community space right off the garden. Free tea, coffee and biscuits. Optional gardening too – the garden doors are always open.
Come and build with us. Lego bricks and honest chats. No pressure. Just good company, a hot drink, and a place where your caring role is understood.
We also welcome volunteers who want to help in the garden (perfect now summer’s in full swing).
This is more than just Lego. It’s connection, community, and care. Supported by our Intervention Team, it’s part of our mission to boost the well-being of caregivers like you, especially those supporting children with complex needs.
