TLC: Talk, Listen, Change is a relationships charity that has supported people in the North of England for over 40 years. Our aim is to ensure everyone within our community benefits from good emotional wellbeing, and the key to this is maintaining safe, healthy and happy relationships.
Mediation
Are you and your ex-partner struggling to agree on child arrangements or shared finances?
We can help you move forward with online or in-person support. For your children and shared finances. We’re here to support you and your ex to come to an agreement as fairly as possible and avoid costly court proceedings.
Mediation allows you to discuss important matters with an impartial Mediator. Whether you’ve recently separated or have been separated for a while, whether you have children or shared finances, we can support you through the process.
TLC is open to all individuals regardless of their gender identity, or sexual orientation. We offer specialised relationship support, on an individualised basis, for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Whether you qualify for financial support or not, mediation costs significantly less than going to court.
The cost of mediation can vary depending on your circumstances. Some support options, such as the government voucher scheme and legal aid for mediation, are available.
