Wirral Credit Union provides savings and low-cost loan services to anyone living or working in a CH postcode area. Established in 1992 we have provided over £47 million in small loans for our members for a variety of purposes such as household bills, white goods, holidays, family events, Christmas expenses etc. We run an informal, efficient service and aim to help our members manage their finances better.

Our Family Saver loan aimed at giving local families a helping hand in managing their finances more effectively. A loan that enables you to save while repaying, meaning that when you have paid your loan back, you will have more money in your savings account than when you started. This helps you to form good financial habits. Poorer credit ratings are considered which will in turn help to build a credit score.
Our Family Saver loan allows anyone in receipt of child benefit, living and/or working in a CH postcode area to become a member of Wirral Credit Union and apply for a loan of up to £500, repayable over 3 to 12 months. Repayments will be made directly from your child benefit. APR is 42.6%, and full terms & conditions are provided prior to application.

You will be required to make an opening deposit of £10 into your savings account upon joining.
There is also a £5 annual administration fee payable by all qualifying members, this is deducted from members' savings accounts in June each year.
