Mendell Primary School in Bromborough has recently established a community Pantry with the support of NEO.

The Pantry can be accessed by any community member who would benefit from access to low-cost food. The Pantry works on a ‘Pay As You Feel’ Scheme but there are suggested costs to the items in stock for those who can contribute.

For families on the school run, anyone is welcome to access this support

You can pay by cash or contactless payment, and the Pantry works on a ‘Pay As You Feel’ Scheme but there are suggested costs to the items in stock for those who can contribute.

How to get involved

Community members can access the Pantry via the School’s Main Entrance where a member of staff will escort them. After the school day (for parents) the Pantry can be accessed via the school playground.

The Pantry would benefit from volunteers if you are aware of anyone who would be interested. Kate explained that they could support people to get a DBS.
