There can be lots of reasons young people (age 16-24) find themselves not in education, employment or training (NEET).

There are so many benefits for our young people to be engaging in education/training or taking up employment, putting them at less risk of :

  •  experiencing stress/anxiety
  •  developing depression
  •  rarely leaving the house
  •  drinking too much alcohol/substance misuse
  •  participating in anti-social behaviour

There are lots of places that can offer support to prevent social exclusion and provide opportunities to gain qualifications, write a CV, link with local employers and develop skills and confidence.
