The Holiday Activities and Food programme for Wirral is funded by the Department for Education and coordinated for Wirral Council by Edsential. Places for these clubs are prioritised for children and young people who receive free school meals/pupil premium.
HAF clubs give children and young people opportunities to meet new friends in a safe and fun environment, whilst receiving a nutritious meal during school holidays across Wirral.
To find an activity for your child please follow this link to the Edsential website, where you can search for clubs by area, child’s age and SEN need.
If your child has a specific need, please make contact with the club directly to ensure that your child’s need can be met, or that the club can make reasonable adjustments prior to attendance. The SEND dropdown on the Edsential website is for clubs that are SEND exclusive. Even if the provider is SEND exclusive, it’s important to tell providers about your child’s needs so they can be best looked after.
If you’re unsure whether your child might be entitled to free school meals, please check it out here
